Corona – With all the choices customers have for frozen treats, Baskin Robbins is still one of the longest-lasting and most recognizable names in ice cream. Not only do customers have the traditional 31 flavors to choose from, but Baskin Robbins has introduced plenty of new items to become favorites of a new generation of BR lovers. From shakes made with any flavor ice cream and real fruit smoothies, to Coffee Blast Cappuccinos and soft serve selections, there’s something for everyone. “Baskin Robbins is an American tradition in ice cream experience,” owner James Chiang said. Baskin Robbins even offers ice cream cakes that are sure to make your next celebration unique. The cakes are custom made in the store and are catered to each individuals needs. They can be made with any flavor of ice cream, in a variety of sizes and with any of the numerous available designs. Cakes prices start at $21.99 and you only need to give them 24 hours notice! Chiang is focused on customer satisfaction and aims to keep 100 percent of customers 100 percent happy. “If for any reason a customer is unhappy with the flavor or service, we’ll exchange the product to make the customer happy,” Chiang said. “We’re not selling ice cream. We’re selling fun!” And part of the fun for Chiang is helping the community and making children smile. “We do a lot of fundraising with schools and the local community,” he said. “I love kids and like to make them happy. The moment that kids get a scoop of ice cream in their hands, their expression is amazing. I love that experience,” he added with a laugh. Right now, kids who come to Baskin Robbins in their sports uniform will receive 50 cents off any purchase. Tuesdays from 5-10 p.m., all ice cream scoops are just $1.29 for kids and $1.79 reg. and the Double Header, hard scoop and soft serve ice cream in one cone, is only $2.39.
