Eastvale – The Limonite Gap Bridge is now open to the public and the City held an official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony last month.

“This bridge is more than just a new roadway—it’s a vital addition to our region, designed to enhance access and reduce travel time for residents,” stated the City.

“Thank you to CTC for allocating $9.475 million from the Local Partnership Program, WRCOG for providing a total of $10 million in Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee (TUMF) funding, and RCTC for approving $13.5 million in Measure A Regional Arterial funds for this project,” the City added.

These funds allowed the City to extend Limonite Avenue from Archibald Avenue to Hellman Avenue. In addition, pedestrian enhancements were added, including Class I bicycle paths and pedestrian sidewalks.

“Thank you to our Eastvale City Council, City team, Falcon, Ortiz Enterprise, Inc., Mark Thomas, and many others for joining us on Monday for our official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony!” stated the City. “With projects like this, we’re building a stronger, more connected city—one that future generations will be proud to call home.”
