Eastvale – At the Dec. 11 City Council meeting, Mike McMinn was selected as the new Mayor of Eastvale and Jocelyn Yow was selected as the new Mayor Pro Tem.
McMinn replaced Christian Dinco as Eastvale Mayor and Yow replaced McMinn as Mayor Pro Tem. They both served one year in those positions.
Dinco will now serve as a Councilmember alongside Clint Lorimore and Todd Rigby.
When Dinco left his position as Mayor, his outgoing message included the following: “”As my term as Mayor of Eastvale comes to an end, I want to express what an honor and privilege it has been to serve this amazing city and share how immensely proud I am of all we’ve accomplished together as a community.
None of these achievements would have been possible without the unwavering dedication and collaboration of my fellow City Councilmembers, the exceptional leadership of our City Manager, and the diligent work of our City staff. Thank you all for your hard work, vision, and commitment to making Eastvale the best it can be.
To the residents of Eastvale: thank you for your trust, support, and partnership. This city’s heart lies in its people, and I am endlessly inspired by your resilience and drive to make Eastvale a place we all proudly call home.
Though my term as Mayor is ending, I am excited to remain on the City Council for the next four years as my new term is just beginning. I look forward to seeing how Eastvale continues to thrive and grow in the years to come.”
The City said in a news release, “Under his leadership, our city has experienced remarkable growth and progress. We’re grateful for his dedicated service and unwavering commitment to making Eastvale a city we’re all proud to call home.”
