Walnut – The Walnut Diamond Bar Sheriff’s Station is aware of a social media post depicting a generalized threat to Diamond Ranch High School. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department takes every single threat, comment and/or “rumor” seriously. Each incident will be investigated thoroughly by our station personnel.
Station detectives are currently investigating the potential threat and are working with the school administration to help ensure the safety and security of students and staff. Patrols have been increased in the area in order to show a high visibility of officer presence. There will be dedicated personnel that will remain on the Diamond Ranch High School campus for the duration of the school day.
LASD Walnut Diamond Bar station wants to thank every parent, faculty member and student that took part in making them aware of the incident. The station is very dedicated to work hand in hand with the community, and school administration to help provide the safest learning environment for all of our students.
