Major Injury Collision on Soquel Canyon Parkway and Mindenvale Drive

LOCATION: Soquel Canyon Parkway / Mindenvale Drive – City of Chino Hills 

VICTIM(S): 37 year-old female 
49 year-old female 
13 year-old male 
9 year-old male 
(all residents of Chino Hills) 

SUMMARY: On October 26, 2018, at approximately 8:00 am, deputies received a report of a two vehicle collision in the area of Soquel Canyon Parkway and Mindenvale Parkway in the City of Chino Hills. 

Deputies determined a grey Nissan Altima, occupied by the 37 year old adult and two children rear-ended a stopped white BMW . As a result of the collision, the two adult drivers were transported for minor injuries. The juveniles (13 and 9 years-old) were airlifted to Loma Linda Children’s Hospital for major injuries. 

Investigators believe the driver and juvenile occupants in the Nissan Altima were not properly seat-belted, resulting in the injuries. Speed was determined to be a factor in the collision.
