Happy Thanksgiving

By Nancy Stoops

I would like to start by wishing all of you a very happy and blessed Thanksgiving.  I also want to remind you that we have so very much to be grateful for during this very difficult time in our world.  Make every day a Thanksgiving not just one day a year.  Think about all that you have in your life.  Most of us have our health, a roof over our heads, food in our bellies, a car, hot and cold running water, family, pets, and so much more. We can spend our days feeling sorry for ourselves for what we don’t get to do or have right now or we can focus on all that we have.

It really comes down to perspective and attitude or what I refer to a mindset. I believe it is really important for our well being to stay positive and grateful.  If we give in to the darkness and all that is wrong then we will become depressed and anxious.  If we can practice staying in the good and the light then our lives will be better and we will enjoy each and everyday no matter what is occurring in our world. The truth is all we really have control over is how we respond to everything.  I say use this power to put good into our world and into ourselves.

Please remember different doesn’t have to be bad it can be amazing.  I know this year many of us will have a different type of celebration for Thanksgiving but remember you can still make it magical.  This can be the year of some new fantastic traditions and a great opportunity to make magnificent memories!!!!! Happy Thanksgiving to you all amazing beings and may your holiday be filled with the magic of positive thinking and all that is possibly and fabulous in our world!!!!!!!
