Construction In Eastvale

Staff Reports

Eastvale – Construction is taking place all throughout the City.

“Caltrans will be beautifying the landscaping along the I-15 Corridor from the Bellegrave Avenue overcrossing to the Santa Ana River overcrossing by installing approximately 1,468,090 square feet of hydroseed mix, 153 shrubs, and 293 trees,” stated a City news release. “Crews will be working in the shoulder, and there is no lane closure or traffic impediment anticipated during the daytime. If lane closures are necessary, they will only occur at night.” Construction has begun and is expected to end by November 2024. For any questions, please contact Caltrans, Almabeth Anderson, at 909.501.9012.

A road construction project is also underway in the Hamner to Limonite to Scholar area. “The project is to connect the new storm drain facilities from the Downtown site to the existing storm drain on Limonite Avenue,” stated the news release. “Current traffic control reduces to one lane in each direction. You’ll encounter temporary steel plates in traffic lanes and flashing red signals. Every day, construction work stops, and traffic control is lifted and all lanes are opened to traffic before the 5:00 p.m. evening traffic. Please be prepared for delays and consider using alternate routes. Thank you for your patience.”

The Eastvale Library is also currently closed due to all the construction in the area, and all library programs have been cancelled for 2-3 weeks. “We apologize for the inconvenience this may cause,” stated the City. “The Eastvale Library is working hard to rebrand and finalize plans for the remainder of the year.” If you have any questions, you can contact the Eastvale Library at 951.273.2025 or visit the Eastvale Riverside County Library System.
