  1. Piccadilly Fine Foods Recalls Beef Shepherd’s Pie Due To Misbranding and Undeclared Allergens Piccadilly Fine Foods, a Santa Clara, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 144 pounds of beef products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.

FMIF Holdings, LLC Urges Consumers of 8oz Pods Purchased Online to Dispose of Product Immediately FMIF Holdings, LLC is recalling Snow Monkey Goji Berry and Cacao 8oz. pods because it has the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Although healthy individuals may suffer only short-term symptoms such as high fever, severe headache, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea, Listeria infection can cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.

Issues Voluntary Recalls of Certain Hummus Products Because of Possible Health RisksBakkavor Foods USA, Inc. is voluntarily recalling Trader Joe’s Mediterranean Hummus (SKU #90642) and Trader Joe’s White Bean & Basil Hummus (SKU #91107) with “USE BY” date codes up through and including 12/15/2016, because these products have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.
  1. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain model year 2011-2016 Toyota Sienna minivans manufactured January 4, 2010, to August 12, 2016. If the power sliding door is unable to be opened when commanded, such as if the door is frozen shut, the door may subsequently open unexpectedly, possibly while the vehicle is moving.
  1. Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 S63 AMG Coupe, S65 AMG Coupe, S550 Coupe 4Matic, S63 AMG 4Matic Convertible, and S550 Convertible vehicles manufactured June 29, 2015, to March 15, 2016. The seat belt extenders on the affected vehicles may not retract as intended and may potentially break the event of a crash.

JFC International Inc. is voluntarily recalling the following confectionery products because they may contain undeclared wheat. People who have allergies to wheat run the risk of a serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the products. The products were distributed to retail stores and other foodservice operators in the states of CA, CT, MA, NJ, and NY. JFC International Inc. is recalling the following products:

You-ka Fresh Ramune- 3.87 ounces- 4902486308594-Best By 2017.11.15 or before

You-ka Punch Ramune- 3.87 ounces- 4902486111064-Best By 2017.11.15 or before

The You-ka Fresh Ramune comes in a pink package, and the You-ka Punch Ramune comes in a blue package.

No illnesses have been reported to date in connection with this problem. The recall was initiated after it was discovered that the sugar ingredients used in the products may have been contaminated by wheat. JFC has immediately responded to this issue and have already taken action to stop sales and distribution of the affected product. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged to return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.   1. Kraft Heinz Company, a Fullerton, California establishment, is recalling approximately 959 pounds of ready-to-eat “Lunchables Ham and American Cracker Stackers” packaged lunch products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
  2. Kiwi Care Package Company, a South Tahoe, California establishment is recalling approximately 90 pounds of Wattie canned spaghetti with sausage that was not presented at the U.S. point of entry for inspection and was received from a New Zealand establishment that was not eligible to export product to the U.S.
  3. Nestlé USA, Inc. is initiating a voluntary recall of its Nestlé Drumstick Club 16 count Variety Pack and 24 count Vanilla Pack due to a possible health risk. The two pack sizes contain 4.6 fl.oz. cones and were manufactured in Bakersfield, California and distributed nationally. No other production codes, sizes or varieties of Nestlé Drumstick products are affected by this recall.
  4. Vascular Solutions, Inc., initiated a nationwide recall of Twin-Pass Dual Access catheters used in catheterization procedures. All unexpired lots of the product have been recalled because there is a potential for excess manufacturing material to remain at the tip of the catheter or within the distal portion of the rapid exchange lumen. It is possible that the excess material may separate from the catheter during use and pose a potential risk of embolism, which could result in serious injury or death. No injuries have been reported in association with this issue to date.
  5. Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company (Goodyear) is recalling certain G399A LHS tires, size 295/75R22.5 LRG, manufactured January 24, 2016, to May 28, 2016. Due to an anomaly during the curing press set-up operation, incomplete adhesion between the tread and the top belt may have occurred.
  6. General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Chevrolet Express manufactured September 25, 2015, to August 22, 2016, and 2016 GMC Savana cargo and cutaway vans manufactured January 28, 2016, to May 18, 2016. The affected vehicles were manufactured without an inside rearview mirror and with a right-hand convex exterior review mirror. These vehicles are required to have either an inside rearview mirror or both left and right-hand flat exterior rearview mirrors. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 111, “Rearview Mirrors.”

  3. Denon Recalls rechargeable battery packs due to fire and burn hazards- The lithium-ion battery packs can overheat.
  4. Spices USA Inc. is recalling 772 bags, 50 pounds each, of TASTY SAWA GROUND TURMERIC, used for furthering manufacturing or repacking, because it contains elevated levels of lead. Consumers are warned not to use the product. Lead can accumulate in the body over time, and too much of it can cause serious and sometimes permanent adverse health consequences.
  5. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing- Toyota Motor Engineering and Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2016 Toyota Prius vehicles manufactured November 30, 2015, to June 14, 2016. An air bag inflator manufacturing error may result in the inadvertent partial inflation of the front passenger air bag.
  6. Subaru of America, Inc.- Subaru of America, Inc. (Subaru) is recalling certain model year 2010-2014 Legacy vehicles manufactured November 26, 2008, to June 7, 2013, and 2010-2014 Outback vehicles manufactured January 9, 2009 to June 7, 2013. Due to contamination, components within the windshield wiper motor bottom cover may interfere with each other. If an obstruction, such as a buildup of snow or ice prevents the wiper arms from being able to stop in the parked position, the wiper motor may overheat and the bottom cover may melt.

  3. Toys R US recalls pacifier clips-The pacifier clip’s spring mechanism can break and release small parts.
  4. Baby Jogger, LLC- is recalling certain City GO Infant Car Seats (models BJ64510 and BJ64529), City GO Base for infant car seat (models BJ80400 and BJ61500); City Mini Infant Car Seat/Stroller Travel Systems (model BJ72510); and Vue Lite Infant Car Seat/Stroller Travel Systems (models BJ70411, BJ70424, and BJ70431). The affected child seats have information on the labels, instruction manual and registration card that is either the wrong size, has an incorrect background color, or is in the incorrect order or is missing. As such, these seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, “Child Restraint Systems.”
  5. Graco Children’s Products Inc.- is recalling certain Milestone child seats, model numbers 1910130, 1923980, 1926538, and 1926539, for failing to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 213, “Child Restraint Systems.” The affected child seat have labels that are missing the required phrase “Secure this child restraint with the vehicle’s child restraint anchorage system (LATCH) if available or with a vehicle belt.”
  6. Paradise Valley Market, Inc. (Carnival Supermarket) recalls ground beef products due to possible E. Coli- The Paradise Valley Market, Inc. (Carnival Supermarket), located at 870 3rd Avenue, Chula Vista, Calif., is voluntarily recalling approximately 35 pounds of ground beef products that may be adulterated with E. coli O157:H7.
