  2. Toys-R-Us Recalls Pacifier Clips: The pacifier clip’s spring mechanism can break and release small parts.
  3. HAUS Mosquito Zapper LED Light Bulbs Recalled by Creative Sourcing: The light bulb’s base can separate from the connector.
  4. Whirlpool Microwaves: Internal arcing during use can ignite an internal plastic component, posing a fire hazard.
  5. The Paradise Valley Market, Inc. (Carnival Supermarket), located at 870 3rd Avenue, Chula Vista, Calif., is voluntarily recalling approximately 35 pounds of ground beef products that may be adulterated with E. coli O157:H7.
  6. Atherstone Foods, a Richmond, Calif. establishment, is recalling approximately 422 pounds of chicken wrap products due to misbranding and undeclared allergens.
  7. John Deere Recalls Tractor Backhoe Attachments Due to Crushing Hazard: The mounting hardware could loosen and cause the backhoe frame to rotate toward the operator.
  8. SAHN Designs Recalls Bicycle Helmets Due to Risk of Head Injury: The helmets do not comply with the impact requirements of the federal safety standard for bicycle helmets.

This week’s newest recalls are listed below:

  1. Things Remembered recalls children’s jewelry due to violation of lead standard- The clear surface coating on the bracelets and necklaces contain lead in excess of the allowable limits. Lead is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.
  2. PharmaTech LLC issues voluntary nationwide recall of Diocto Liquid distributed by Rugby Laboratories due to product contamination- PharmaTech LLC of Davie, FL, the manufacturer of the Rugby®- branded product, is voluntarily recalling all lots within the expiry of Diocto Liquid, a docusate sodium solution due to a risk of product contamination with Burkholderia cepacia. Use of docusate sodium liquid contaminated with B. cepacia may result in serious infections that could be life-threatening in patients with compromised immune systems and in patients with chronic lung conditions such as cystic fibrosis.
  3. Kiddy USA (Kiddy) is recalling certain World Plus combination forward facing child restraints that convert to a high back booster seat, model 51 100 WP, manufactured from July 2, 2012 through October 5, 2013. The buckle/tongue on the affected booster seats may only partially engage. As a result, the consumer may have a false impression that the buckle is fully latched when it is not. As such, these seats fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 213, “Child Restraint Systems.”
  4. Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain model year 2016 Land Rover LR4 vehicles manufactured May 3, 2016 through May 10, 2016. The affected vehicles have driver side frontal air bags that may not inflate properly.
  5. GSI Outdoors recalls Children’s Water Bottles due to violation of lead standard – Sold Exclusively at L.L.Bean- The lead solder exterior base of the bottles contains high levels of lead, which is toxic if ingested by young children and can cause adverse health issues.

Here is a new list of some recent recalls:

  1. General Mills voluntarily recalls a limited quantity of Frozen Beyond Meat Vegetarian Indian Curry with Beyond Chicken: General Mills today announced a voluntary recall of a limited quantity of frozen Beyond Meat Vegetarian Indian Curry with Beyond Chicken, produced over seven days in April 2016. This product is available exclusively at Whole Foods.
  2. Little Lotus Baby Swaddles and Sleeping Bags recalled by Embrace technologies due to choking hazard (Recall Alert): The shoulder snaps on the baby swaddles and sleeping bags can break or detach.
  3. Continental Mills recalls Blueberry Pancake Mix because of possible health risk:Continental Mills has issued a recall affecting only retail Krusteaz Blueberry Pancake Mix, which involves product manufactured between April 2016 and June 2016. The company was notified by our supplier that their product, a blueberry nugget, is made with a small percentage of affected flour which was recalled by General Mills because it may be contaminated with E. coli O121.
  4. Bernhardt recalls Dressers and Nightstands due to serious tip-over hazard: The recalled dressers are unstable if they are not properly anchored to the wall.
  5. Chrysler (FCA US LLC) is recalling certain model year 2017 Pacifica vehicles manufactured February 22, 2016, through April 28, 2016. The center overhead seat belt stow clip may fracture and prevent use of the seat belt in the third-row and/or second-row center passenger seat (if so equipped).
