City clarifies that no shots were fired at annual Picnic in the Park.
Eastvale – The 15th Annual Picnic in the Park was an eventful day that took place from June 28 to June 30 at the Eastvale Community Park.
The three-day celebration welcomed a summer season of non-stop fun in Eastvale, which was held by JCSD. The event included carnival rides, games, food and craft vendors, and a marvelous fireworks display. In addition, there was a Salsa Making Contest judged by Mayor Rigby and Councilwoman Yow.

The City of Eastvale issued a statement on their Facebook page stating the following: “a fight took place and one of the individuals had a pellet gun. NO shots were fired and there were minor injuries only. Two suspects were subsequently arrested.”
The City of Eastvale wanted to clarify the correct information to the community and they also ensured that the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department would remain onsite through the duration of Picnic in the Park, ensuring the “event is safe and enjoyable for all.”
