Eastvale – An Eastvale coach was arrested for multiple sexual counts involving current and former students last week.
Joe Robles Jr, an athletic coach at Eleanor Roosevelt High School, was arrested at his home last Saturday in Ontario for a number of crimes which include “sexual assaults against multiple former students,” confirmed Riverside County Sheriff’s Department (RS0) Sgt. Ernie Esquibel. Robles was booked on suspicion of unlawful sex with a minor and rape of a minor under 14 years of age. His bail was set at $1 million.
On September 26, officials from the Corona-Norco Unified School District informed the RSO that a school employee possibly having inappropriate relationships with former students, Sgt. Esquibel confirmed.
An investigation confirmed Robles, 36, had multiple sexual relationships with students who had previously attended the school and was having contact with several current and former students via social media connections, Sgt. Esquibel said.
