Eastvale – Eastvale businesses are opening and construction is in process for several new establishments. Eastvale roads are even receiving a makeover.

Paving activities occurred on River Road west of Archibald Avenue on Feb. 12th. United Pavings performed these activities from 7 a.m. – 4 p.m. For additional information about this project, contact the City of Eastvale Public Works Department at 951.703.4470.

On Sunday, Feb. 9, Griddle Mongolian Grill opened in The Eastvale Marketplace located at 13394 Limonite Ave., Suite B-100. They are open 7 days a week from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. Griddle Mongolian Grill offers a wide variety of delicious veggies and other fresh ingredients to pair with noodles, rice and their secret sauce.

As of Jan. 27, the traffic signal at Scholar Way and 68th Street is now active. This signal includes a flashing yellow arrow to assist with left turns.

The City of Eastvale reminds the community of these rules when approaching the new signal:

•Solid Red: Drivers may not turn.

•Solid Yellow: Drivers are cautioned, the light is about to change, drivers must prepare to stop or complete the left turn.

•Flashing Yellow: Drivers may turn but must yield to pedestrians and oncoming traffic.

•Solid Green: Drivers may turn.

On Jan. 24, the City of Eastvale announced that another gym will be joining the Eastvale health community soon. The City also has a location that provides assistance for mental health. To find more information on the gyms and health clinics within the City, we encourage you to email the Eastvale Economic Development Manager, Kimberly Wright at kwright@eastvaleca.gov.

On Jan. 23, the EastBrew Cafe held their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. The new restaurant is located in the Eastvale Gateway Center at 12303 Limonite Ave., Suite 700. EastBrew Cafe features a variety of coffee and latte options, as well as an assortment of tea and food options. They are open on Monday – Thursday from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. with kitchen hours from 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. & on Friday – Sunday from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. with kitchen hours 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. They also host weekend brunch.

On Jan. 16, the Little Eastern Café also held their Ribbon Cutting Ceremony. Little Eastern Cafe is located at the Station in Eastvale at 4910 Hamner Ave. They serve a delicious array of Asian, Chinese, and modern Chinese food.
