Eastvale – There are so many family fun events coming up this summer. Mark your calendars for the events below!

The first is the annual Picnic in the Park, hosted by JCSD with the City of Eastvale as a proud presenting partner. The event will take place on June 24, 25, and 26 at the Eastvale Community Park, located at 12650 Citrus Street in Eastvale. This free event will feature picnic games, carnival rides, a beer garden, delicious food, fireworks, entertainment, and more!

The weekend includes the following: June 24th from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. featuring Cold Duck; June 25th from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. featuring Bruno Mars and the Hooligans, and a firework show; and June 26th from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. featuring Como La Flor. Another exciting event coming up is an Independence Day Bike Parade on July 2! Bring your bike, scooter, or wagon to this family fun event at VantagePoint Church. The event will take place from 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. and will include a parade, decorating contest, prizes, a DJ, Facepainting, FREE Kona Ice and more!

Be sure to come by from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. to decorate your wheels and enter to win various prizes, including tickets to Knotts! Decorations will be provided during this time frame, then you can display your work at the parade at 9:35 a.m.

If you’re a food lover, the City’s first-ever Restaurant Week is the event for you! During the week of July 11 to July 17, residents will be able to visit 10 participating businesses, show the official Restaurant Week flyer, and receive a special discount! Check out page 2 of this publication to see the official flyer you can take in to each restaurant.

After residents make a purchase, they are encouraged to email a photo of their receipt to restaurantweek@eastvaleca.gov for a chance to win a special raffle too!

The participating businesses are: Masala House, Eastbrew Café, Little Eastern Café, Otoro Sushi, Jono’s Sushi, Devil’s Kitchen & Teppan, Which Wich, Jinya Ramen Bar, Bushfire Kitchen, and Blaze Pizza.

Another event in July will be Raahauge’s Youth Outdoor Adventure Day on July 16! The event will take place from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will include paint ball games, rock climbing, archery, airsoft, kayaking, a petting zoo, falconry, various shooting ranges, food vendors, and more. The cost is only $15 cash at the door and the first 600 kids will get a free door prize! Adults can also enter the adult raffle. The last event in July is the EATSvale Food Truck Festival on July 29. The Food Truck Festival will take place at 13200 Citrus Street in Eastvale. More information to come. Vendor requests can be directed to events@eastvaleca.gov.
