Eastvale – There are several new events in March and April. Save the date for these community events!

Battle of the Bands

When: March 22nd at 5 pm

Where: ERHS main campus quad

Details: Come out and support and experience Battle of the Bands, presented by ERHS’s newest leadership organization, LEAD. Admission is $5.

Good Friday Service

When: Friday, March 29th at 6 pm

Where: Riverside Christian Alliance Church, 9640 Jurupa Rd., Jurupa Valley CA 92509

Passport Day of 2024

When: March 30 starting at 8 a.m. (new date)

Where: Eastvale City Hall

Details: Starting at 8 a.m., residents and nonresidents will be able to visit Eastvale’s City Hall for passport services. Up to 100 parties will be seen. There are several requirements and fees associated so check out the City’s Facebok page for more details. For additional information and specific passport questions, please email cityclerk@eastvaleca.gov.

EGG-Celent Adventure

When: Saturday, March 30th from 10 am to 1 pm

Where: Eastvale Community Park, 12750 Citrus Street, Eastvale

Details: JCSD is hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for ages 0-12. Registration is required and the cost is $5 per child. There will also be games, vendors, and inflatables! Visit their ad on page 2 of this newspaper for more details and to register.

Easter Picnic and Service

When: Saturday, March 30th from 4 pm to 6 pm

Where: VantagePoint Church, 8500 Archibald Avenue, Eastvale

Details: Come to a Picnic Party from 4-6 pm filled with games, food, and an egg hunt. An Easter service will follow at 6 pm.

Easter Sunday Service

When: Sunday, March 31st at 9:30 am

Where: Eastvale Community Center, 13820 Schleisman Rd., Eastvale

Details: Calvary Chapel Eastvale is having their annual Easter Sunday Service  at 9:30 am! Visit their website for more information.

Easter Egg Hunt and Service

When: Sunday, March 31st at 10:30 am

Where: Vandermolen Elementary School

Details: Hillcrest Baptist Church is having a free Easter Egg Hunt after their 10:30 am Sunday service. For more information and to RSVP for the egg hunt, scan the code on page 5.

Meeting with the Mayor

When: April 9 at 6 pm

Where: Ronald Reagan Elementary

Details: Throughout 2024, Mayor Dinco will visit each district in Eastvale to enhance accessibility to residents, and to create a space where residents can ask questions on issues important to them. Upcoming dates are: April 9 for District 2, June 5 for District 5, August 7 for District 3 and October 2 for District 1. More information to come.

Earth Day Clean Up

When: Saturday, April 20th at 9 am

Where: Harada Heritage Park

Details: The Eastvale Kiwanis and the ERHS Key Club are teaming up with many local organizations to host yet another Earth Day Clean Up. Meet at Harada Heritage Park at 9:00 a.m. to receive roadway assignments. After the clean up, everyone is invited back to the park to enjoy lunch.

Move Through Motivation Scholarship 5k Run/Walk

When: May 11, 2014 at 7:30 a.m.

Where: Eastvale Community Park

Details This isn’t any ordinary 5k. All proceeds from this event will go to local students in the form of scholarships. If you’d like to support the community in this way, register at movethroughmotivation.com/events

When: Every Friday from 5 pm to 9:30 pm

Romans Road To Salvation Classic Car Show

When: March 23, 2024 at 9 am to 2 pm

Where: Galaxy Burger, 2150 South Archibald Ave., Ontario CA 91761

Details: Car show with raffles, game truck for kids, a photographer, food, and car show awards. FREE to spectators. Pre-registration fee is $35 and VIP Registration is $50. Vendors are $75 per spot. Halloween Events

Trunk or Treat

When: Wednesday, October 23 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.  

Where: Sky Country Elementary, 5520 Lucretia Ave in Mira Loma

Details: Trunk or treat will begin promptly at 4 pm. and will conclude at 5:45 p.m. Come dressed to impress! Costume contest will take place at 5:45 p.m. No masks or weapons please. Fun free activities include bounce houses, craft tables, cakewalk, costume contest, decorated trunk contest.  Concessions will be for sale.

Trunk or Treat Carnival

When: Wednesday, October 23 from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Where: Granite Hill Elementary School, 9371 Granite Hill Dr. in Riverside

Details: Students are encouraged to wear costumes to participate in the parade. 

Cost: Admission is $1 per person. Additional tickets are needed to purchase food and play games at different booths. Ticket cost is $0.25 each during event

Harvest Festival 2019

When: Friday, October 25 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Where: Norco College, 2001 3rd St in Norco

Details: Free activities: face painting, pumpkin launching, carnival games, trick-or-treating, photo booths, pumpkin decorating, dance performances, live music and more

Cost: Admission is FREE

Trunk or Treat

When: Friday, October 25 at 6 p.m.

Where: Riverview Elementary, 4600 Pedley Ave. in Norco

Details: Games and food for all ages and families

Spooktacular

When: Saturday, October 26 from 5 p.m to 9 p.m.

Where: Agate Park, 8623 Jurupa Rd. in Jurupa Valley

Details: Bring your family to enjoy a night of carnival style games.  The annual Spooktacular includes jumpers, music, game booths, FREE costume contest, train rides and new Trick or Treat Stations. Free Costume Contest for All Ages begins at 6:30 p.m. sharp!

Price: $5.00/wristbands for unlimited games, jumpers, trick or treat stations, and train rides, while supplies last.  (Excludes food vendors)

Public Safety Community Workshop

Details: Our goal of this workshop is to bring Eastvale residents and businesses together to come up with the best direction as well as strategy for public safety. Our hope is that this allows us to best meet the needs and desires of our community while remaining fiscally responsible.
