SCORE Inland Empire To Provide Mentoring And Workshops

Eastvale –  SCORE Inland Empire will be providing mentoring for small businesses and entrepreneurs in Eastvale on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month, beginning on October 3, 2016.  Mentoring appointments will be available during one hour sessions at 9:00 a.m., 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on those days.  Mentoring is provided by active and retired business men and women with experience in all aspects of business to help local small businesses grow and prosper.  There is no charge for mentoring.  Mentoring sessions will be located at Eastvale City Hall; 12363 Limonite Avenue, Suite 910 in Eastvale.

Appointments for one (1) hour mentoring sessions can be made on the Inland Empire website at inlandempire.score.org.

Additionally SCORE will be providing workshops in Eastvale beginning in January, 2017.  The workshops will cover a variety of small business topics.  Workshops will be held at New Day Christian Church at 7155 Hamner Avenue in Eastvale.  The workshops will cover a wide variety of topics that help small business such as writing business plans, online marketing, social media, marketing, personnel issues, financing, acquiring rental space, accounting and much more.  Registration for the workshops can be completed at inlandempire.score.org.

SCORE is a non-profit organization that has assisted more than 10 million entrepreneurs to help them start and grow small businesses nationwide in over 50 years since it was founded. It is a network of over 11,000 volunteer mentors in over 300 chapters nationwide who are dedicated to helping small business.  SCORE Inland Empire is the local chapter that provides mentoring and workshops at 15 sites within the Inland Empire.

Ten New Military Banners Installed

On Wednesday, November 2nd the City of Eastvale installed ten (10) new military banners along Archibald Avenue between 65th Street and Grapewin Street.

“The Military Banners are a reminder of the men and women who are serving on active duty in the United States Armed Forces.  It is an honor to see each one and know they are representing Eastvale, California,” said Mayor Ike Bootsma.

The Eastvale City Council allocated funding for the fiscal year 2016/2017 to continue the Military Banner Program. The program is also funded by donations from local businesses, residents and Eastvale non-profit organizations. 100% of donations are allocated to the installation and maintenance of the program.  Any contribution amount is greatly appreciated.

“We truly appreciate the continued support for our Military Banner Program by our residents, local businesses and Eastvale non-profit organizations. Shortly after the City’s re-administration, we received a generous donation from Waste Management which was much appreciated,” said Bootsma.

Check the Air Quality Before You Burn: Season began Nov 1

The South Coast AQMD’s Check Before You Burn season began Tuesday, November 1, and will continue through February 28 of 2017.

While residential burning has not yet been restricted this season, please watch for no-burn alerts in your AirAlerts subscription emails or by one of the other methods listed below.

Check Before You Burn is a program designed to protect public health and reduce wintertime fine particle pollution in our region.  During this time, residents are prohibited from burning wood in their fireplaces – both indoors and outdoors — on days when air quality is predicted to be poor.  This restriction applies to all residents of Orange County and non-desert portions of Los Angeles, Riverside and San Bernardino counties.  A ‘No-Burn Alert’ will be issued by SCAQMD one day in advance of any no-burn day that is declared.

This fall and winter season, check the status of your air quality before you burn wood or any other solid fuel.  If you already receive the AirAlerts daily forecasts or real-time air quality alerts, you will automatically receive the special action day alert notices.  New subscribers can join at  www.airalerts.org.  You can also get the daily burn status by calling the SCAQMD’s 24-hour toll-free information line at (866) 966-3293, or by checking online at www.aqmd.gov, or by downloading SCAQMD’s app available for iPhones and iPads and for Android smartphones.

His Voice

John 10:3  “The gatekeeper opens the gate for Him, and the sheep recognize His voice and come to Him. He calls His own sheep by name and leads them out.…”
We lost one of our sons at a crowded amusement park once.  Absolutely, not a good feeling.  Our family began shouting his name.  This went on it seemed for about 1 or 2 minutes.  Then I jumped in at the top of my voice and shouted my son’s name.  A few seconds later, I was relieved to see a security attendant coming over holding my son’s hand.   She explained that my son went to her and said he was looking for his papa.  All of a sudden he began to say “Papa! Papa!”   He then quickly took her in the direction of my voice.  Out of a crowd of thousands, my son heard my voice.  When God says something, it’s for good reason and worth obeying.  When he calls, it may be to say “stop,”  “go this way,” or it may even be “not that way!”  His voice is one that calls us, guides us, and protects us.  God spoke audibly to some such as Moses and Abraham, but God also speaks clearly through the pages of the Bible.  There is a lot of noise in the world that can get in the way.  The noise can be in the form of social media, TV, or even politics.  But the more you read the Scriptures, the more readily you will know when God is speaking.  The word “leads” in this verse speaks of “leading out.”  He has the way and He is ready to lead you out of whatever you are going through and into His green pastures (Ps 95:7).  “If you hear His Voice.”

City Council Meeting

The September 14th 2016 City Council Meeting was attended by Council members Clint Lorimore, Adam Rush, and Richard Simmons, as well as Mayor Pro Tem Joseph Tessari and Mayor Ike Bootsma. The invocation was led by Pastor Rob Norris from The Crossings Church.

Cub Scout Pack 803 lead the Pledge of Allegiance before presenting awards to Ike Bootsma, Richard Welch, and Jane Anderson for their work and dedication to the City. Student Liaison Natalie Diaz updated the Council on the local school’s upcoming events before the meeting progressed to the next Item on the agenda.

During the Public Comment section, multiple residents came forward to express their concerns about “birthing hotels,” where foreign mothers allegedly give birth with the purpose of having a child born as a U.S. Citizen. The residents claimed that there are approximately 12 apartments and 16 houses in Eastvale being used as a birthing hotels. They cited concerns about the safety, health, and even the effect on the housing market that these “businesses” will have on the community in the present as well as the future. In response to the statements made by the residents, the Council asked that the City Staff provide some form of report on the investigations and actions that are currently taking place to try and combat the problem and present the information at a future City Council Meeting.

After the Public Comment’s, the meeting moved to the Consent Calendar, and Item 6.1 was continued so that Staff could make amendments to previous minutes.

The Council then proceeded to 8.1, which authorized the Eastvale Chamber of Commerce to host the 2017 State of the City Address. It was approved 5-0.

8.2 authorized City Staff to spend the amount of $10,000.00 to administer the Military Banner Program. It was passed 5-0.

Item 8.3, the Chandler/Selby Project Award was passed 5-0.

8.4 was passed 5-0 in favor of awarding a contract to Econsolutions for Economic Development Consulting Services and authorized the City Manager to execute the necessary documents.

The City Manager, Staff, and Council Members presented reports before the meeting closed at 8:23 p.m.

“Try and see all the great art that you can, find your voice, and be sure that this is really what you want to do.” Barbara Ernst Prey, Visual Artist.

As a favorite quote of Rosemary Tuthill, she was born in Orange and now a current resident of Eastvale, California. She has been drawing since she was in kindergarten. Over time, she has explored a range of media from clay, watercolors and acrylics to airbrush as well as oils when she was in high school. In college, she studied art, interior design, and finally electrical engineering. After working in Research and Development for 24 years, she was able to follow her true passion of painting full time. Her work has been shown in galleries; she paints art for print sales, and paints commissioned portraits and landscapes.

Tuthill realized that photos are wonderful way for capturing a moment in time, but oils can memorialize a person or memory and create an heirloom one brushstroke at a time. She is proud to be able to be share her love of art with her oil paintings and being a part of peoples’ lives by sharing her skill with Paint and Sip parties where she leads participants through an acrylic painting step-by-step. Here, she emphasizes art as fun in relaxed social environments including museums, galleries, wineries, and homes.

So many people have influenced Tuthill’s life, but her biggest role model and most proud of is being the daughter of renowned painter and muralist Emigdio Vasquez. He created over 400 oil paintings, works, and more than 32 murals in North Orange County, California. Through her art, she feels a bond with her father. Rosemary grew up in the presence of artists, art shows, exhibits, and events. From the time Rosemary was old enough to help, she served as Emigdio’s model for murals and portraits, and later assisted him in his art career as a liaison to galleries and as his exhibits coordinator. From her father, she gained an appreciation for oil painting and a study of the works of the Old Masters with an eye for lighting effects, layers with degrees of translucence, and layout with expression. She is very meticulous in all of her works including portraits that range from photo-realistic to gritty rendition, to landscapes with amazing detail, still-life works that capture realism, and even pet portraits with amazing detail.

Many artists are able to create paintings in hours. However, Rosemary says, “My portraits take up to a few months because of the multiple layers and I tend to paint three works at a time to enable both drying and planning times.” In the painting community, there is more male Hispanic artist than female, “I have the talent to create art, I need to represent my background and gender,” says Tuthill.

Tuthill has displayed her art in galleries alongside her father’s paintings and as a standalone artist. She currently have three paintings in the Riverside County Administration Center hosted by the Riverside Arts Council where you can see Packinghouse Orange, California Circa 1948, Night of the Altars, and a portrait of Charles Darwin. The exhibition runs until February 2017.

“Look for beauty in all that you see. You cannot appreciate humanity without trying to understand the context of everyday struggles and triumphs,” is Tuthill’s advice if she could give any.

Eastvale Military Needs Your Help

Eastvale – The City of Eastvale has officially begun administrating the Military Banner Program (MBP) as of September 14, 2016.

The Program honors Eastvale residents that are serving in the U.S. Armed Forces as well as their immediate family members (spouse, parent, legal guardian, grandparent, child or sibling).

Eligibility for the program is as follows:

  • The serviceperson is a current Eastvale Resident. Residency must be verified with a recent bill, driver’s license, or other form of I.D. listing a current Eastvale address.
  • The serviceperson is of immediate family of a current Eastvale resident. Residency must be verified with a recent bill, driver’s license, or other form of I.D. listing a current Eastvale address.
  • The serviceperson must be serving on active duty. For the intention of MBP, active duty is defined as 12 months of continuous service in the U.S. Armed Forces.
  • The serviceperson must have a minimum of six months of active duty service remaining at the time of application.

The City of Eastvale is no longer accepting Military Banner Applications for the November 2016 Installation. The city will however send a notification of the next application period in early 2017.

Keep your purchases and packages safe…

With holiday time fast approaching, many people will be starting to get a jump on their shopping both at retail stores and through online ordering and delivery. There are several ways to keep your packages and yourself safe when shopping.

When you venture out to your nearby retail stores and are possibly stopping at several establishments in the same shopping center, keep the following things in mind. 1) Do not leave any valuables in plain view of someone that may walk by your vehicle, thieves often break into vehicles where they can see an item of value and know it will be easily accessible. 2) If you want to place valuables in the trunk, do so before you arrive at your shopping destination, thieves often watch to see people place valuables in trunks or in the rear of the vehicle prior to going into an establishment to shop so they can break into the vehicle and grab the item before you return. 3) Move your vehicle between purchases, if you plan on purchasing items from several different stores, move your vehicle after every purchase; this way a thief thinks you have left the shopping center with your packages and will move on to the easier target for theft or leave altogether.

If you have ordered online and are receiving deliveries to your home, take some precautions to protect your investment. 1) When ordering, make a request for a signature when the delivery person drops off the package, usually a free service. 2) Give instructions to place the item in a certain location, i.e. behind a locked gate or behind a security screen door. 3) Utilize one of the several new locker locations that are popping up all over. 4) Have a trusted friend or neighbor pick up your package for you if you can’t get to it right away.

Deanna Myers is the Volunteer and Programs Coordinator for the Jurupa Valley Station of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department that services the Eastvale Police Department.  She has been with the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department for about eight years, and most recently was assigned to patrol within the City of Eastvale before moving into her current position where she is in charge of the Neighborhood Watch program for the City of Eastvale.

 

Eastvale Residents May Receive Reports For New Walmart Construction

Eastvale – The City of Eastvale has compiled an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for residents to inform them of new construction taking place on Limonite Avenue. The report addresses the constructions impact on traffic, noise and green house gases.

The development project will house a commercial retail center with a Walmart being at the center of construction. The retail center will also consist of a fast-food restaurant, gas station, rain water collector, and other various shops.

The EIR will be available to the public for a 45-day period from October 3 until November 17. Residents can receive a printed copy at Eastvale City Hall in the Planning Department on 12363 Limonite Ave, Suite 910 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. Residents can also receive printed copies at the Eastvale Library and the Riverside County Clerk-Recorder. The EIR is also available online and can be downloaded on the City of Eastvale’s webpage at www.eastvaleca.gov/city-hall/planning/environmental-documents/walmart-project

Questions, comments, and concerns regarding the EIR should be submitted to Eastvale’s Planning Director, Eric Norris, no later than 5 p.m. on November 17. Eastvale – Just being east of downtown Los Angeles, Eastvale manages to shine brighter than the all known county. Eastvale is a relatively new city because its previous owners were dairy farmers. Now at just six years old, and still growing, Eastvale is bursting with opportunity and prowess.

Since the city itself is so modern, nearly every resident is new which means that Eastvale is immensely diverse in culture. What pulls in new residents is the city’s highly rated and awards winning schools as well as the low crime rate.  Also, since Eastvale is so new, so are the houses. With most starting at just $500,000, it might sound overwhelming but it buys homeowners approximately 3,000 square feet.

Up until recently, Eastvale was without public spaces such as parks and community centers. Now that they’ve been added, the city also plans to build two new elementary schools. While the new extensions to the community provide revenue and more space for citizens, it also increases the local property taxes more than two percent. That’s twice the state’s average.

Jobs within the Eastvale city limits are limited but a new Amazon fulfillment center was recently built to offer more job opportunities to city. Residents wishing to find work outside of Eastvale must endure 45 minutes of rush hour traffic since the city sits between Irvine and San Bernardino.

Tami and I have not been perfect parents, but when you have children God gives you a few hundred lessons along the way. And from our years of experience, we’ve come up with a list of five non-negotiables that all parents need in order to raise a family God’s way:

  1. Understand the times. In past societies, the culture helped reinforce the values that parents were trying to instill in their children. Not today. That’s why you need to be surrounded with a few like-minded parents who can support, encourage and counsel one another through the choppy waters of life
  1. Have a sacred commitment to each other. Your kids need to see your vows lived out in every circumstance, in times of both peace and conflict. Make it a priority to resolve disagreements with your spouse, to forgive each other, to remain faithful. These qualities of love build a powerful, profound sense of security in children.
  1. Know what you believe. You are the textbook your children read. Your deeply held values about life will influence your interactions with your children. As parents, you need to know what your unshakable convictions are.
  2. Remember God’s perspective on children. Never forget that children are a gift from God. Raising your children is a privilege and responsibility He has given to no one else, and they should be raised to know Him and walk with Him.
  3. Strive for the right goal. More than anything else, your children need to grow to love and fear the Lord. That’s more important than ensuring they have a good education, develop different skills or learn how to succeed in today’s culture. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.

Burn Out

Leviticus 6:12  “And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out.  And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning…”

A first-grader wondered why her father brought home a briefcase full of work every evening. Her mother explained, “Daddy has so much to do that he can’t finish it all at the office.” “Well, then,” asked the child innocently, “why don’t they put him in a slower group?”  I believe there is much truth to this.  We find our fast paced environment creeping its way into our lives more often these days.  We can walk into worship at church lacking energy and being a spectator rather than a willing participant.  This may not always mean it’s time for vacation, but it may be an indicator to at least “slow down.”  The fire on the altar of “burnt offering” was to never go out.  If your time with God is dissipating, you will burn out.  God is calling upon us to burn brightly for Him in our daily lives, but there needs to be fuel for the fire.  The priests would throw wood on the fire every morning to keep the fire burning.  It may be time to prioritize, slow down, and put wood on the fire.  There is no greater fuel for the Christian heart than the Bible.  In Luke 24 after Jesus rose from the dead, he met two disciples on a road and opened the Scriptures to them.  After their encounter with the Risen Christ they proclaimed “did not our hearts burn within us while He talked with us?” (Luke 24:32)  Make it a priority to get back into the “daily” practice of reading your Bible and praying.  It will bring fuel to your life.

Eastvale’s August Town Hall Meeting Recap

The August 2nd, 2016 Town Hall meeting was held at Rosa Parks Elementary school. The purpose of the meeting is to update the community on the latest news from various departments and organizations, as well as give residents an opportunity to ask questions of the aforementioned groups.

Mayor Ike Bootsma opened the meeting by discussing past events, upcoming events, and upcoming projects taking place in the city. He stated that the construction on the 200 acre Goodman Commerce Center “…is one of the largest mixed-use developments in Southern California.” Amazon and the Volkswagen Group of America have both announced that they will be building a new Fulfillment Center and a training facility, respectively. The project is expected to employ over 4,000 people.

The Mayor then reflected on the recent Waste Clean Up event that took place at Eleanor Roosevelt High School. The event allowed residents to dispose of things such as electronics, mattresses, etc. with a total of 24.31 tons of waste being taken. Bootsma attributes a large amount of the success to the ERHS student football volunteers who braved the heat for hours, stating: “I really cannot give enough credit to our teenagers who do so much for our city.” The next Waste Clean Up event will take place on November 5th at Dr. Augustine Ramirez Intermediate.

Mayor Bootsma then moved to discussing the new Map for the district elections that was approved by the City Council. The change took place immediately “in preparation for the November 8th, 2016 general municipal and special elections.” He then stated that the City Council nomination period is open and will conclude on Friday, August 12th 2016. The period is only open to registered voters in District’s 1, 2, and 5.

Bootsma closed by mentioning the upcoming events in the community, such as JCSD’s Concerts in the Park, National Night Out, a Moonlight Cinema event, and answered some questions posed by residents. For more information on the upcoming events, see the City of Eastvale’s website.

Next, the Lieutenant Scott Forbes gave an update on behalf of the Eastvale Police Department. He started by thanking the volunteers that put in many hours to help keep the city safe. Next, he discussed the slight uptick of crime seen in the recent weeks, which is not unusual in the summer months, the department’s average response time, and the issue of mail theft in the city.

Rafael Gonzalez gave an update on JCSD and the Parks Department, stating that the Eastvale Community Park is now in phase 2 of development. Another representative from JCSD mentioned current and upcoming events, such as the Concert’s in the Park, the Moonlight Cinema on August 13th, youth sports sign-ups, as well as a 5K and 10K on October 1st. Alison Loukeh, a Conservation Coordinator from JCSD, said that the biggest water usage problem in Eastvale stems from water run offs in the streets. She stated that a landscape class will be offered on September 17th, and that you can RSVP for it online.

Next, CNUSD Communications Director Evita Tapia Gonzalez stated that the school district is currently preparing to welcome back students for the 2016-2017 school year. She stated that the new STEM program is expected to fully open in either 2018 or 2019, and that a new elementary school is also coming to Eastvale in the next few years.

James Huffman and M. Visak from Animal Control presented information on the types of issues they have been taking care of, such as dogs returned to owners, citations issued, and animal cruelty investigations. Visak warned that the new developments surrounding Eastvale have pushed some wild coyotes into our neighborhoods, so extra caution should be taken to “keep your pets safe.” He mentioned that the Riverside County Department of Animal Services offers low cost vaccinations and licensing for pets.

Lastly, Eastvale City Manager Michele Nissen mentioned that the city is currently in the process of obtaining 2 grants that would help to fund school safety, as well as a Cops grant for law enforcement services

Local Church Sponsors Family Night

Eastvale, CA – VantagePoint Church in Eastvale sponsored a family night last Sunday, September 4th, at the Eleanor Roosevelt High School campus. The evening, which was titled “Flicks and Food Trucks”, was a night for families to come out and enjoy nine food trucks and a free movie playing on an inflatable movie screen set up in the schools amphitheatre.

The evening was also capped off with a visit from “Belle” of the “Beauty and the Beast,” “Spiderman”, and from one of the “Storm Troopers” from the “Star Wars” movie franchise. All characters are church goers who donated their time to ensure the kids had a great time during the night.

“We didn’t want to be just another church. We wanted to be a missions outpost in the community,” stated VantagePoint, via their website. “We are going to be an aggressive church that went after the lost, let down, and looking. We wanted to make the Inland Empire the hardest place in the world to go to hell. We wanted the people of our church ‘to be living proof of a loving God.”

VantagePoint periodically hosts community events welcoming every family from any denomination. The goal is to bring community together. Earlier this year Vantage Point  hosted an Easter Egg hunt which brought out almost 5,000 people in attendance. They also host many other events during Halloween and Christmas, in addition to donations to local charities and missions. They’ve had speakers come and share their story, such as Bethany Hamilton, the girl who lost her arm to a shark attack. A few years ago, before his death in July of 2014, VantagePoint  hosted Louis Zamperini, the Olympic Gold Medalist who was caught and tortured in WWII. Another guest speaker was “Blair” from the 80’s hit sitcom “The Facts of Life”. The comment element of these speakers was that they all were challenged within their life and through faith and God they survived and living examples of a loving God. If you would compare their backgrounds you will see the variety of their lives.

Vantage Point has purchased, and is in the process of paying off, 10.5 acres of land on Archibald Ave in Eastvale. Once they pay off the property, they will build a church and school complex to serve the needs of the community. For now, they meet each Sunday at 8, 9;30, and 11 am at Eleanor Roosevelt High in the theatre auditorium. Its located at the corner of Scholar Way and Citrus, one block west of Hamner. Costco Coming in Fall 2017

The City of Eastvale has been busy in the last 3 months! There are various businesses opening in the future and currently just opened. The latest plan, Costco has signed a Letter of Intent to build a site in the retail portion of the Goodman Commerce Center in Eastvale. They have also filed their site plans with the City of Eastvale on August 22, 2016. Costco is targeting a November 2017 opening. The site will include a 153,538 sqft building, 24-pump gas station and land set aside for a future drive-through car wash.

City of Eastvale was also happy to welcome Smart & Final Extra announced in beginning of August that they will be located at the new shopping center coming soon at the corner of Limonite and Sumner. Smart & Final has been in business for 145 years and was founded in 1871 by Herman Hellman. Today, Smart & Final is a public company with over 8,000 employees working in more than 250 grocery stores in California, Washington, Arizona, Nevada, Oregon, Idaho and Northern Mexico. Temporary Signs In The Public Right Of Way

Citizens, business owners, non-profit organizations and others are asked to please abide by the rules and criteria outlined below when placing Garage Sale signs or other temporary signs within the City of Eastvale. Temporary Signs in the Public Right of Way is defined as “any sign, including commercial, non-commercial or political sign displayed for a limited period of time.”

  1. Temporary signs may be placed in the public right of way during the period beginning 4 p.m. Friday and ending 7 p.m. Sunday. Signs in place outside this period will be subject to removal.
  2. Temporary Sign Size, Materials, and Maintenance Criteria. All temporary signs placed in the right of way must:
  3. a) Be free-standing and securely mounted on a wooden or metal stakes;
  4. b) Be no higher than four (4) feet above grade;
  5. c) Be no larger than six (6) square feet and no more than three (3) feet in either height or width;
  6. d) Be constructed of substantial sturdy, durable and weather-proof material;
  7. e) Be kept in good repair;
  8. f) Be non-illuminated;
  9. g) Include the contact name and phone number of the person responsible for the sign in a clearly legible manner, either on the front or back of the sign; and
  10. h) Be located in a permitted location as defined in this Section 5.E. 3.
  11. Sign Location. Temporary signs in the public right of way must be located at least 20 feet from the curved portion of the corner in order to maintain visibility for motorists, as shown in the illustration. In addition, the following apply:
  12. a) Signs must be located at least two feet from the edge of a curb or sidewalk, or from the edge of the pavement if there is no curb or sidewalk.
  13. b) Signs shall be installed so as not to damage plant materials, irrigation equipment or other public property.
  14. c) Signs may not be placed on a sidewalk.
  15. d) Signs may not be placed in a roadway median.

What does a nun wear that everyone has? Habits!

Far too often we simply float along through life.  Maybe we attribute our station in life to fate, or think that our life is just the way it has to be.  Even our daily routine may seem like something we have no control over – it’s just what we have to do.   Perhaps bad habits have taken over and we are not living the life we want to.

Steven Covey has left a legacy of lives changed for the better when people have realized that their life may be more controlled by habit than they ever imagined. That’s great news!  What? How can that be great news?  If bad habits have taken over, we simply need new habits.  And Steven Covey offers up seven powerful new habits you can take on in your life that will positively change it forever.

The first step is to be Proactive.  Take the initiative and seek something better for yourself, your family, and those around you.  The Apostle, Paul, suggested the same in Ephesians 4:22 -24: “You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; to be made new in the attitude of your minds; and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.”
